SEEKING GOD EARLY

Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength. By me kings reign, and princes decree justice. By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth.
I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me. Prov. 8:14-17.

How do you begin your morning? How do you open every new day?

When you wake up those things you do has a lot of influence over your life, those things you wake up to do have much control over your heart.

It a pity today, what many wake up to meet is the social networks, including some Christians.

They retire for the night with there phones on there hands, and wake up with it early in the morning, why? because there heart is committed to it.

Many Christians will kick-start there day reading news, pages upon pages on secular blogs (unedifying blogs), and entertaining themselves on social media such as Facebook, Instagram, twitters etc.

whereas they find it very difficult and boring to read a chapter of the Bible just to start the day.

This is one of the devils hideout to cheat the children of God.

The devil know that if you can start your day by seeking God, you have made him a failure in your life for the day, and you will receive all you need to have a fulfilled day.

  • When you seek God early it shows that you love God.

I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me. Prov. 8:14.

For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Matt.6:21

If truly you treasured the Lord Jesus, your heart will draw to Him when you open your eyes in the morning.

Early in the morning your song will raise to Him.

If He is important to you, you will love to start your day speaking with Him.

  • When you seek God early you are starting your day with wisdom and counsel.
  • For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. Prov.2:6.

Wisdom from the Lord is all you need for a successful day.

Wisdom to know how to and what to do for the day, wisdom for good judgement.

A day started without His counsel will be filled with guessing that lead to confusion.

Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Eph.5:15-17

The way you start will judge the activities of the day, and how it will end.
Don’t open a new day anyhow…

Many Christian become victim of the evil of the day, why? Because they refuse to consult the wise counselor and guardian at the beginning of the day.

Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm. Prov.13:20.

If you don’t want to miss the opportunities of the day, start your day by walking with the wise (the Lord).

  •    When you seek God’s word early in the morning Prosperity will locate you

The one who gets wisdom loves life; the one who cherishes understanding will soon prosper. Prov.19:8.

An arrogant man stirs up strife, But he who trusts in the LORD will prosper. Prov.28:25.

When you seek the Lord early in the morning, you are seeking the one who knows how you can prosper without sweat.

“If you want your net to harvest to the full measure, consult the greatest fisherman”

When you seek Him early he will give you understanding that will lead you to prosperity.

Make a decision from today that you will never start your day without communicating with the Lord, in prayer and reading the word.

And He will make your ways prosperous…

FOUR IMPORTANT GATE YOU WILL MEET BEFORE YOU GET TO THE PROMISE LAND.

Promise is a declaration or assurance that one will do a particular thing or that a particular thing will happen.
If God promise to do a thing in your life, He is assuring you by signing an undertaking and giving you a guarantee that what He promised most surely come to pass.

God's word has been proved to be reliable from ages to ages, it does not fake or fail, it could be timely, but has never miss its target.

heaven and earth shall pass away but My word will never pass away. Matt.24:35.

The promise of God stand sure, but you need to hold on it, to see it fulfilled in your life.

There are four gate you must be ready to pass through successfully before you are qualified for your dream come through.
I call them gates because you will surely meet them on your way, if you must get to your promise land.

 1. Gate of Patience.
For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. Heb. 10:36.

The gate of patience is their to prove your character, it will test how long you can wait on your God.

This gate of patience will expose how far you can last in doing good without changing (most expectially when it's unprofitable)

Some will start well on the right track, but fail at this gate of patience.

Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.Gal.6:9.

Your reward will came if you can pass through this gate of patience and perseverance successfully

And so, having patiently waited, he obtained the promise Heb.6:15.

The promise is still going to be fulfilled wait in patience for God.

2. Gate of Faith
At this gate, your faith will be tested. your weakness and your strength will be tried.

God will allow you to face mountains, barriers and troubles.

You can also be coming across some challenges like; financial lack, stagnancy, loses, barrenness etc.

At this point you will be left only with the option to depend on the word of God.

God knows you can pass through if your faith is strained,
don't forget "He will not give you more than you can handle"1cor.10:13.

The gate of faith will compelled you to put the word of God to work in your life.

He want to teach you on how to trust Him and depend on His word, so that your faith may grow.

The unfolding of your words gives light; it imparts understanding to the simple. Ps.119:130

At the gate of faith you will be able to search for the right word for your life and if you get it, it will give you understand and also jack up your faith for the fulfillment of the promises.

If you must get to your promise land your faith in God's word will be tested.

At this level you will no more read the word as novel, but for an impartation and understanding that will strengthen your faith.

3. Gate of Diligence.
And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: Heb.6:11
verse 12a: said that ye be not slothful.

At this gate God want to see how faithful you are with the little in your hand presently.

in all labour there is profit Prov.14:23a

"He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much" don't wait for a huge deal before you are hand working.

If you can't pass through the gate of diligence, you won't be qualify for the promise.

"Whatever is commanded by the God of heaven, let it be done with zeal"
Let you zeal speak for you.

Don't wast Gods resource in laziness.

In the parable of the talent, the one who was given one talent desided to hide his talent.

why? because he saw it too small to be used.

Now when the owner of the talent came, he could not add any profit to it.

The bible said, the single talent he despised, was taken away from him and given to another who was diligent with his.

And he was left in suffering and shame. matt.25:14-30

Slothfulness will rob you of the little in your hand and denied you of the promise fulfillment.

The hand of the diligent will rule, But the slack hand will be put to forced labor. Prov.12:24

The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, But the soul of the diligent is made fat.prov.13:4.

Keep your diligence intact, even when the reward is not yet ripe keep doing it, do it with all of your zeal, it will surely yield for you.

4. Gate of hope.
Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:

That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: Heb 6:17-18

This is another gate that will qualify you for the fulfillment of the promises.

The one who promise you will determine how much hope you can put on the promise.

When men promise you, its under probability because of human factors.

When God promise you, its 100% guarantee, all you need to do is to wait for it, because His words are authentic.

Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. James 1:22.

The gate of hope will teach you never to worry again, after receiving God's promise.

The gate of Hope will teach you to trust in God and relax after he has spoken.

this gate will open your inner eyes to see beyond any situation on your way, and hang onto the promise which are the reality.

The gate of hope will remove grumbling away from you life and learn to console yourself with what he has promised.

13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,

14 Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.

15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. Heb.6:13-15.

God Promises carries His integrity, He said to Abraham i have sworn by my name "wow".

He is not a man that He will lie.

Depend on Him and trust Him today. your miracle, your joy, your promises are on the way.
