SEEKING GOD EARLY

Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength. By me kings reign, and princes decree justice. By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth.
I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me. Prov. 8:14-17.

How do you begin your morning? How do you open every new day?

When you wake up those things you do has a lot of influence over your life, those things you wake up to do have much control over your heart.

It a pity today, what many wake up to meet is the social networks, including some Christians.

They retire for the night with there phones on there hands, and wake up with it early in the morning, why? because there heart is committed to it.

Many Christians will kick-start there day reading news, pages upon pages on secular blogs (unedifying blogs), and entertaining themselves on social media such as Facebook, Instagram, twitters etc.

whereas they find it very difficult and boring to read a chapter of the Bible just to start the day.

This is one of the devils hideout to cheat the children of God.

The devil know that if you can start your day by seeking God, you have made him a failure in your life for the day, and you will receive all you need to have a fulfilled day.

  • When you seek God early it shows that you love God.

I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me. Prov. 8:14.

For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Matt.6:21

If truly you treasured the Lord Jesus, your heart will draw to Him when you open your eyes in the morning.

Early in the morning your song will raise to Him.

If He is important to you, you will love to start your day speaking with Him.

  • When you seek God early you are starting your day with wisdom and counsel.
  • For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. Prov.2:6.

Wisdom from the Lord is all you need for a successful day.

Wisdom to know how to and what to do for the day, wisdom for good judgement.

A day started without His counsel will be filled with guessing that lead to confusion.

Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Eph.5:15-17

The way you start will judge the activities of the day, and how it will end.
Don’t open a new day anyhow…

Many Christian become victim of the evil of the day, why? Because they refuse to consult the wise counselor and guardian at the beginning of the day.

Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm. Prov.13:20.

If you don’t want to miss the opportunities of the day, start your day by walking with the wise (the Lord).

  •    When you seek God’s word early in the morning Prosperity will locate you

The one who gets wisdom loves life; the one who cherishes understanding will soon prosper. Prov.19:8.

An arrogant man stirs up strife, But he who trusts in the LORD will prosper. Prov.28:25.

When you seek the Lord early in the morning, you are seeking the one who knows how you can prosper without sweat.

“If you want your net to harvest to the full measure, consult the greatest fisherman”

When you seek Him early he will give you understanding that will lead you to prosperity.

Make a decision from today that you will never start your day without communicating with the Lord, in prayer and reading the word.

And He will make your ways prosperous…
